Camden kids get involved in Local Competition

Local children in the Camden area are being encouraged to get creative as the countdown to the festive season begins with the launch of a Christmas card design competition by Holiday Inn London – Camden Lock.

The team at the hotel is ho-ho-hoping for some inspirational ideas from youngsters at Haverstock Secondary School, who could win dinner at the hotel and a day pass to London Zoo for the family if they come up with the winning Christmassy creation.

The four-star hotel, which is operated by the UK’s largest independent hotel management company, Redefine|BDL Hotels, will put the winning card into production for distribution to its loyal customers and partner businesses.

The competition is open to all children at Haverstock Secondary School.

Gehan Eriyagama, General Manager at Holiday Inn London – Camden Lock, said: “Christmas is all about children so we thought we would open up an opportunity for local youngsters to design our card.
“To reward the winner we’ve got a great day out for the family planned – they’ll get to enjoy a dinner for four right here at the hotel and a day pass for London Zoo.”

Entries will be judged by the hotel team and must be received by Friday 23 October.
