Divine Chocolate the only Fairtrade and B Corp-certified chocolate business that is co-owned by cocoa farmers

The National Reality TV Awards is pleased to announce a Bronze Sponsorship partnership deal with Divine Chocolate for the forthcoming 11th edition of the prestigious National Reality TV Awards, set to take place on the 28th of July 2022, at Porchester Hall in London.

Divine Chocolate is the only Fairtrade and B Corp-certified chocolate business that is co-owned by cocoa farmers. They are on a mission to help end exploitation in the cocoa industry and create a world where farmers thrive and prosper. Based upon a business model that champions farmers, and makes delicious, high-quality chocolate for ethically conscious consumers, Divine Chocolate is committed to doing things differently. They believe that producers should earn an equitable share of the value they help to create through the cocoa supply chain. That is why Kuapa Kokoo Farmers’Union, the world’s largest Fairtrade cocoa co-operative of over 100,000 farmers, has a 20% ownership stake in Divine Chocolate.

It’s a natural move for Divine Chocolate with its own inspirational business model, to support the Most Inspirational Programme award because nothing beats curling up on the sofa and watching Inspiring TV while eating a delicious bar of Divine Chocolate that does inspiring things for farmers in Ghana and the planet.

And what’s even better? Divine isn’t just having a positive impact on the world, it’s also utterly delicious. Supporting ethical and sustainable brands doesn’t mean you have to compromise on taste, because Divine Chocolate is made from the cocoa produced by Kuapa Kokoo farmers. Kuapa Kokoo’s motto, ‘Pa Koko’s Paa’ means ‘Best of the Best,’ reflecting the pride, time and care put into growing the best quality cocoa. On top of this, Divine never uses palm oil and their chocolate is only made using natural ingredients. Every new award or accolade is a huge boost for the Divine Chocolate team as it affirms their mission to improve the lives of farmers and their families. In 2021, their Dark Chocolate Pink Himalayan Salt won a Great Taste Award from the Guild of Fine Food – testimony to the high quality and delicious taste.

Last year, Divine Chocolate launched its bold new campaign ‘Delicious Chocolate Fighting Exploitation,’ embodying the spirit of the brand’s mission to give farmers an equitable share of the wealth they help to create, a voice in how things are run, and an assurance that their needs will be met. Divine Chocolate also refreshed its packaging across its full product range to highlight best-in-class sustainable cocoa sourcing, and its unique “Co-owned by cocoa farmers” business model. The brand also launched a 360 communication campaign inviting people to join a chocolate revolution to help tackle exploitation in the cocoa industry.

As part of this Bronze sponsorship agreement, Divine Chocolate acquired naming rights for the Most Inspiring TV Show at this year’s 2022 National Reality TV Awards, of which nominees include:
