The Impersonators are one of Finland’s finest rock bands. The two-man project born out their ashes and designed to cut out the politics and strife which come from the rock & roll life. Their single ‘Cloud Nine’ is definitely one that cannot be put in a box. It basically defies the traditional structure of predictive songs normally in the charts. The vocals on ‘Cloud Nine’ are on point, the creativity and is absolutely clear. Cloud Nine“ is a great song and if you are into the 80s and 90s era of alternative rock, you will be in for a surprise.
The lyrics are about a love story , with an emphasis on actions rather than words. Despite their poignant lyrics, The Impersonators are still a joyous and sweet proposition, with their vocal harmonies and chiming chords harking back to such 60s pop majesties as The Beatles, The Byrds and The Beach Boys.
